Overview:
PRIME is a comprehensive program monitoring and results management system developed for Save the Children International. It enables country and regional offices to track progress, measure impact, and report results more effectively — supporting a data-driven approach to humanitarian and development work.
💡 The Challenge:
With operations spanning dozens of countries, Save the Children needed a unified platform to consolidate data collection, reporting, and project monitoring. The system had to be secure, multilingual, scalable, and adaptable to diverse programmatic contexts.
🛠 Our Contribution:
Skillian supported the full-stack development of the PRIME system by:
🔧 Designing and implementing core features that enable users to manage indicators, targets, and reporting cycles
🔌 Integrating with third-party systems and internal tools to streamline workflows and ensure data consistency
🔁 Participating in agile sprints and daily standups, collaborating closely with the client’s global team
📋 Refining user requirements by working closely with stakeholders across various regions
🚀 Supporting successful deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of the platform in multiple countries
Our team emphasized:
✅ Clean, testable, and scalable code on both the front-end and back-end
✅ Robust role-based access control and localization support
✅ A smooth, responsive UI to accommodate users with varying technical experience
🎯 Impact:
PRIME is now a critical part of Save the Children’s global operations — enhancing transparency, improving data quality, and enabling faster, more informed decision-making across programs worldwide.
